No Comments on Katie O’neill TestimonialI recently tried Dr Cabot’s Quick Loss meal replacement formula and was surprised at the way i felt when i stuck to a portion controlled diet. Considering the easy to follow- two shakes and 1 meal per day QL protocol- my busy schedule suited it well. Using the Quick Loss meal replacement recipes as a guide, i got structure, but most importantly- portion control back to my meals.
My portions had really blown out over the years- not that i realised until i looked at the meals on the plan that comes with Quick Loss. Quick Loss eliminated all of the processed foods and sugars i had been eating out of my diet. Although i have to say, i did tweak my Quick Loss program a little for enhanced results. It was on my nutritionist- Kylie McCarthy’s advice during week 5, when i had only lost 4 kilos, i totally eliminate certain foods from the diet. There wasn’t particularly much of these-what Kylie called “inflammatory” foods on the Quick Loss protocol anyway, but i noticed my energy levels went through the roof when i totally eliminated those foods. I lost 12kilos in 10 weeks, which is more than we expected- and i didn’t even exercise! (but dont tell Kylie that) I was going to be happy with 1 kilo per week- and was told that on the regular program to expect a loss of 1 kilo per week- which is the normal and as they say, healthy amount of weight you should lose on a diet- exercise variable. However with the 100% elimination of those inflammatory foods from my diet, i found my results much better than expected. I’m feeling great, and am able to put what had become my regulation uniform of tracksuit pants back in the pyjama draw.
I would only recommend that Dr Cabot perhaps think about eliminating those same foods that i did because i felt so good when i let them go- especially the grains! In one of my consultations, Kylie mentioned that particular foods are inflammatory to the body- which didnt make much sense so i didn’t really make the change to my diet, but throughout the journey of my consultations i learnt about inflammation and just how important it is to try and eliminate any foods that are inflammatory to my body- and boy, once i cut those foods out of my diet i noticed more energy and more weight loss almost immediately.
I’d recommend the Quick Loss to anybody that is busy or has lost touch with the right meal portions. Sitting in with a practitioner gave me motivation and knowledge to keep me focussed on my goal- i must thank Kylie for that- and thanks to Dr Cabot-creator of Quick loss- I’m ready for spring and not living like a hermit anymore.
